Finest Brands International are a leading supplier of clothing, footwear and safety equipment to the equestrian and country/lifestyle sector. They have built 2 strong and reputable brands, Toggi and Champion, and provide a wide range of products to retailersthroughout the UK.Designer Salary Competitive and Dependent Upon ExperienceLeeds, LS11Permanent, Full time Finest Brands International are looking to appoint a forwarding thinking and tenacious designer. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with two established and highly respected brands. The role involves researching, innovation, forecasting and designing& sourcing seasonal collections, predominantly textiles, but also the possibility of footwear, accessories and other equine products.Designer Role Details and Requirements

  • Passion & fresh vision for the country & equine market / industry
  • Proven track record of strategically driving brand awareness & understanding buying patterns
  • Analysing trends in fabrics, colours & shapes and applying that to the development of equestrian & country products
  • Researching, innovative, forecasting, designing & sourcing seasonal collections, working with the Design Manager & Creative Lead to develop products to meet briefs.
  • Transferable interpersonal skills
  • Managing standards and the relationship with factories & suppliers in the UK and overseas
  • Ability to conduct fit work and quality control
  • Dedicated, loyal, hard working, organised and self motivated
  • Excellent IT skills, Adobe, word, excel, outlook etc
  • Managing presentations of collections to Board & sales team
  • Working closely with sales team to ensure product development complements the brands and their current collections
