The Platform sits within Consumer Relationships and plays a critical rolein providing services across the whole Group.The Data Lab is one of four Labs that make up the ECP Platform. Our mission is to "Maximise the potential of data in the fight against Economic Crime." This will be a voyage of discovery for the whole ECP platform, driven by the work of 4 key areas inthe Data Lab:

  • "The Destination": Data Management and Strategy
  • "The Journey": Data Engineering
  • "The Discoverers": Data Science and Analytics
  • "The Guides": Data Direction and Design
We’re looking to recruit a Data Architect/Modeller, who will provide specialist data skills and knowledge to support data architecture and modelling aspects of solutions being designed. Additionally, you’ll:
  • Supporting the delivery of the strategic direction of data combining technological and architectural vision to accelerate agile delivery of solutions,
  • Support and validate requirements definition from the business
  • Produce and maintains documents for data design, compliant with the Groups Policies and Standards
  • Create data models aligning to business needs and the Groups central model
  • Take responsibility for implementing a teams formal development framework with guidance from senior colleagues,
  • Support in improving Data Literacy and Culture in the Business Area and invest in opportunities for own personal development
What we need from you
  • Ability to understand the big picture and implement the Data Strategy by working closely with our data and solution professionals to design data architecture in a hybrid cloud environment, promoting re-useability of data products and ensuring conformitywith our data ethics and standards.
  • Expertise in Data Architecture and Data Modelling in structuring high volume data environments.
  • Working knowledge of system integration and data management integration.
  • Knowledge of Industry standard Data Modelling, Data Management tools and architecture frameworks and cloud technologies.
  • Support in improving Data Literacy and Culture in the Business Area and invest in opportunities for own personal development.
