Job Description

  • Customer Order Processing Assistant
  • £20,000 - £24,000 per annum
  • 12 month temporary contract
  • Role based in Leeds - 2 days per week on-site, the rest working remotely
Working for a Global FMCG company we are looking for a to join their R&D Operations team within Leeds. This is a 12 month contract but does have potential to become a permanent role.The main category that you will be supporting is within their personal care - deodorants and you will assist with:-
  • Order Processing through various systems including Coupa and Velocity
  • Proactively resolving issues with suppliers and communicating with the procurement team internally
  • Input new suppliers into Velocity
  • Track progress of Purchase Orders
  • Resolve any payment issues
  • Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers
  • Raise and follow up on manual payment requests for unpaid invoices
  • Manage internal office maintenance orders - furniture, IT equipment and stationary
Skills and experience required
  • Ability to prioritise, multi-task and have a positive attitude to change
  • Happy to work with a lot of spreadsheet and various IT systems
  • If you have strong experience on Excel it will be a big advantage as well as knowledge of Coupa or Velocity. Knowledge of SAP is also a bonus
  • Be confident to chase people for outstanding information
  • Previous experience within either Customer Service or Order Processing is essential
