Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working in partnership with a leading business based in Leeds who are looking to recruit a Credit Controller into their growing business on a permanent and full time basis! This is a fantastic opportunity for a Credit Controller who has experience working within a busy finance function to join a large business and really gain exposure with finance duties and accounting principles. The role will include chasing lists and the accountscan be high value, anything up to £2 million down to £50, the successful candidate will take ownership for queries, challenging, bank reconciliations, the role will offer lots of variety and the chance to study your CICM if youd like. Reporting into the Credit Manager, Duties & Responsibilities of the Credit Controller will include: * Manage the debtors within their business on a daily basis to gain payment within the given terms* Own the disputed debtors processes reporting disputes to the relevant persons within the business * Monitor and manage unallocated cash * Allocate cash received/Company Banking and bank reconciliation* Providing timely reports to the senior credit controller for review and discussion on* Raise Sales invoices & Credit Notes Skills & Experience Required: * Cash Collection Experience* Payment reconciliation to Ledger good accuracy * Understanding of long term contract accounting * Experience of designing and implementing new reporting / management information in an efficient manner * Ability to stand by a decision * Able to take a broad / compromising view * Good telephone manner * Good organisational skillsIf this sounds like an opportunity you are interested in and you believe you possess the necessary skills and experience in order to be successful; please click apply and get in touch today!
