Job Description

The CompanyAxon Moore have partnered with an international service company to recruit a Credit Control Manager.They require an experienced, driven and confident manager to join the business and drive forward change and innovation within the Credit Control functionIf you are looking to take your career to the next level then this is the perfect proposition for you.The JobAs the Credit Control Manager, you will report to the Financial Controller and CFO. You would be responsible for all aspects of Credit Management, including reporting to Senior Leadership, streamlining processes, evaluating risk and staff management.This varied and fast paced role will include the following duties:

  • Managing the credit control function and minimising the risk of bad debt
  • Handling major client accounts
  • Attending meetings with clients when needed
  • Implementing improvements to the Credit Control function whenever possible
  • Preparing weekly and monthly aged debtor reports
  • Analysis of risk
  • Understanding complex billing procedures and working closely with the billing and sales teams to minimise billing queries
  • Building relationships internally with key stakeholders
  • Chase overdue payments by telephone and e-mail
  • Undertaking complex account reconciliations
  • Managing the 3rd party legal involvement for cash collection of older debts
  • Monthly reporting on all credit limits -v- actual account balances
  • Proactive credit limit work
  • Day to day management of the Credit Control team
  • Resolve queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices
  • Reviewing credit limits
  • Working with international offices
The Person
  • Strong management experience
  • Experienced Credit Control Manager
  • CICM Qualified or currently studying
  • A positive and confident attitude
  • Team Player Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Organised and accurate with attention to detail
  • Work well under pressure
  • Able to manage own workload while achieving internal and external deadlines
