Schools in Leeds currently require cover supervisors to assist them with General Cover on a day to day basis, starting immediately. The ideal candidates will have experience in the role, assisting secondary schools with unplanned or planned absences. Strong classroom and behaviour management is essential when delivering preplanned lessons. We are willing to consider people with less experience, as long as they have some experience with children, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn and get involved!You will need to: * Nurture independence and provide the right support enabling students to develop confidence and respect. * Actively encourage students to take responsibility for their own learning, recognising them as individuals with their own unique skills and talents. * Provide a diverse and rich environment in which students become independent, thoughtful and proactive about their abilities and responsible for their achievements. * Encourage students to develop enquiring minds and to make the most of the many opportunities offered in school for them to develop morally, spiritually, culturally and socially.Please note, the work is on a Ad-Hoc day to day basis, as and when the schools need cover.
