Job Description

Commercial Manager - External Catering - LeedsSalary - circa £40,000p/a dependent on skills and experienceWe are recruiting a Commercial Manager to join our clients leadership team to be responsible for the continued growth of their external home catering delivery business and provide key insight and strategic direction.You will focus on their growth plan and co-ordinate activities across the teams to ensure that key growth milestones are met or exceeded.

  • You will be required to demonstrate a successful background in managing a growth oriented business.
  • Challenging where necessary, it is essential that you understand how best to motivate and co-ordinate the activities of individual team members to further enhance their skills and allow the business to grow.
  • An ability to self-motivate and an infectious enthusiasm for sales and providing a first rate customer experience is essential.
  • A strong background and demonstratable track record in commercial and business development is essential
  • High end catering experience is preferable, as is experience of business growth in independant catering delivery operations.
  • This is a full time role, predominantly Monday to Friday.Key responsibilities, but not limited to: -·Sales process management and reporting·Website performance management (in-house and 3rd Party)·Referral site listing management·Supplier relationships & promotional events·Social Media Management·Production of new and existing collateral·Identifying new contracts / opportunities and working with the senior team to secure these·Strategic planning and budget managementPersonal values:·Always striving for perfection & consistency·Have a can do attitude & commercial mindset·Enthusiastic, tenacious & professionally engaged·Ability to adapt, adjust & problem solve·Helps first & encourages teamworkRewards include financial benefits, the opportunity to learn and develop in a fast moving, dynamic business and join a team in a respected specialist role within a leading independant brand.Our client is a respected provider of event hospitality, venue management and catering.
