The opportunity Our head-office in Guiseley, West Yorkshire has a brand-new opportunity for an experienced Account Handler to join their growing team. This is a key role that willbe responsible for generating revenue and developing the profitability of the business whilst ensuring full FCA compliance in all aspects of commercial insurance. Our Account Handlers ensure a high-quality service is provided to all clients in accordance withtheir specific needs and requirements. Key areas of responsibility include Ensuring accuracy, efficiency and professionalism when dealing with both client and insurer and conducting high quality work in relation to; New Business, Renewals, Mid-term adjustments,Claims, Queries, Finance Arrangements, and Issuing Cover Notes Ensuring all business activity fully complies with FCA regulation and company procedures as detailed in the Conduct Polices and Guides to Best Practice Always promoting exceptional customercare standards Developing and maintaining a professional working relationship with all clients and providing expert product advice and guidance Actively securing renewal business by re-broking existing business to ensure the client is presented with the mostsuitable and cost-effective cover Promoting and increasing the use of in-house premium finance, from insurer schemes Supporting our Account Executives with duties where required Achieve and maintain a high level of customer service and promote exceptionalcustomer care standards at all times. Conduct client visits where appropriate in relation to renewal meetings, claims reviews, mid-term reviews and/or surveys Produce Pre-Renewal documents and Renewal Reports Assist colleagues with workloads during busy periodsAssist colleagues with queries/peer review when required Handle any complaints in accordance with regulation, the Companys Conduct Policy and Guide to Best Practice. Conduct learning, training and assessment exercises in accordance with the individual T&Cscheme applicable to you. Identify further areas for own development as required.
