Job Description

This firm is committed to the progression of its staff, and this is a fantastic opportunity to start a long term career with the firm, so we welcome applications from paralegals with Child Law experience and who want to develop their legal career withina busy, friendly, dynamic and highly experienced team!Tasks will likely include the following:
  • To prepare correspondence and documents through audio-typing and word processing
  • Administration of client files, which will include daily electronic filing and the opening, and retrieval of files
  • To make appointments, arrange meetings and to maintain an up-to-date diary for their fee earner
  • Attend to clients both in person and on the telephone
  • To keep dictation up to date within agreed timescales and advise when outside of timescale - to be agreed with individual fee earner
  • To have full working knowledge of IT systems
  • To ensure all financial information is entered and uploaded on the case management system
  • General assistance and support in the department
