Manufacturing Futures are currently seeking a CAD Technician for a manufacturer based around the Leeds area. The successful CAD Technician will be working within the design team to help deliver manufacturing drawings towards specific clientele needs.This is an opportunity for a talented CAD Technician to join a company with strong, shared values and a clear sense of direction. This role is set-up for you to work towards a senior manager position for the overall responsibility of the design team in futureas the manufacturer are a growing business with new products and ideas developing constantly.CAD Technician Role and Responsibilities- Delivering manufacturing drawings and cutting files on time to a high level of accuracy- Providing colleagues, suppliers and customers with technical advice- Supporting and promoting best practice to drive continuous improvement across the design department- Product development when called upon using autocad and inventor software- Overall responsibility for the Design department and a focus on refreshing our standard part/stock library- Liaise and produce basic technical drawings for external manufacturing partnersCAD Technician Skills- Ideally from a manufacturing background- Autodesk Inventor experience- Demonstrate experience in prioritization, collaboration and task management- Demonstrate good task and time management skills- Show an understanding of commercial practices and principlesIf you are interested in this opportunity and possess the skills and experience to fit in then please do apply for the role.
