Job Description

Acorn by Synergie is searching for a Business Development Manager with packaging experience to join their client, a leading manufacturer based in the North.Covering a northern territory, the purpose of the role is to generate of leads, opportunities and closure of sales with new and existing accounts throughout the UK, to meet the sales targets. This will encompass a level of technical service support in orderto ensure superior customer experience.You will have account management responsibility for new and existing NW accounts and in order to deliver, there will be regular travel to customer sites.Duties will include:

  • Delivery of objectives in sales growth, profitability and service concepts with accounts in the designated region.
  • Working with the Managing Director ensuring the products proposed meet the needs and demands of the customer base.
  • Develop local account management plans and target customer strategies to deliver market growth.
  • Up selling, promotion and recommendation of new and existing products and services and support with the implementation.
  • Support product trials, evaluations and deliver technical support when necessary.
It is essential that the successful candidate has a proven track record for succeeding with new business growth and strong relationship building skills are also required.This is a hybrid role with weekly travel.
