Business AnalystLeeds/Remote (2 days on site)£40-50KA Business Analyst is required for our public sector client. We are looking for a Lead Business Analyst to join IT at one of the biggest education organisations in the UK. You will work on digital transformation projects that underpin the global strategy.As a Lead Business Analyst you will work collaboratively with project managers, business representatives, end-users and technical teams within IT to deliver systems that support effective and efficient business processes and align Strategy. You will have considerableexperience of working as a Business Analyst to effectively understand business objectives, elicit requirements and model business processes. You will have extensive experience of solving problems, communicating effectively with a diverse range of people andwith an ability to prioritise your own workload, managing conflicting demands on your time.As a Lead Business Analyst your main duties will include:* Leading, managing and monitoring business analysis activities on high-profile and strategic projects* Developing options to meet business needs* Working with key stakeholders to identify the technical, organisational, people, systems and process impacts and changes* Providing effective consultancy to projects, advising on the Business Analysis tasks and deliverables required; Accountability for the scoping, planning and subsequent delivery of the Business Analysis workstream of multiple projects* Owning the development of "As-Is" and "To- be" processes as well as associated functional and non-functional requirements for solutions;* Facilitating workshops and meetings with key stakeholders* Supporting the development of IT solution proposals that meet documented requirements* Building long-term, strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders* Representing the organisation at regional and national networks as required* Delivery of training and workshopsAs a Lead Business Analyst you will have:* Substantial experience of working as a Business Analyst across the full project* Experience of leading and developing BAs, providing advice and guidance on business analysis approach and providing professional oversight and review of BA deliverables;* Experience of leading successful project delivery in a large organisation as a Business Analyst;* Significant experience of working across complex organisations and programmes* Strong problem solving capability, with a logical approach and the ability to see different perspectives and options;* Experience of creating high quality diagrams and models to convey information, including the use of UML, BPMN or similar modelling techniques and using software to support modelling, such as MS Visio or Sparx EA;* Extensive experience of effectively analysing problems and data* You may also have: BCS accreditation in Business Analysis, certification in Lean / Six Sigma, or similar qualification;* Experience of Higher Education sector;* Experience of managing a team of Business Analysts.* Experience of SAP
