Job Description

Timely Recruit is recruiting for a B2B Energy/ Utilities Account Manager to join one of the largest and well-established Independent Gas Transporters (IGT) and Independent Distribution Network Operators (IDNO) in the UK.Summary of duties: The B2B Account Manager (Energy and Utilities) will be responsible for Customer Relationship Management:

  • Own relationships with customers including UIP’s, Consultants, Commercial Clients, Developers, National House Builders.
  • Establish and operate efficient frameworks to ensure all customers are met (either face-to-face or virtually) on an agreed frequency and in line with the Sales Plan.
  • Forecast and track key customer metrics to assure Sales Plan delivery and enable timely corrective actions if required.
  • B2B Energy and Utilities expertise is key to ensure customer service needs are met.
  • Ensure CRM is fully current with all relevant market intelligence, customer information, and pipeline data captured.
  • Ensure all commercial/customer administration is well-managed and kept up to date.
  • As the Account Manager you will be responsible forCustomer Business Development:
  • Support customers by providing input and guidance on key customer bids and developer conversations.
  • Work with customers to identify new business opportunities suitable for them and the company.
  • Experience and Attributes: Energy and Utilities. The Account Manager must possess the following:
  • Utility/energy connections and experience with working with an ICP/IDNO/IGT/DNO would be advantageous.
  • Existing relationships with customers including UIP’s, Consultants, Commercial Clients, Developers, National House Builders.
  • Must possess Energy or Utilities experience.
  • Business to Business Account management (B2B) experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop rapport and relationships with customers ensuring that you are meeting and exceeding expectations.
  • Ability to prioritise competing demands whilst ensuring standards are maintained.
  • Project Management experience would also be beneficial.
