Job Description

Our client is a dynamic and innovative tech company headquartered in West Leeds. As the team continues to grow and expand, they are looking for a talented and motivated Assistant Management Accountant to join our finance team and support the Financial Controller.As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will play a critical role in the finance department, focusing on month-end tasks, balance sheet reconciliations, and accruals and prepayments. You will work closely with the Financial Controller to ensure the financialhealth and integrity of the organisation.Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform month-end financial tasks to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Support the accruals and prepayments process, maintaining accurate records.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Controller to analyse financial data and trends.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.
  • Contribute to process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the finance department.
