  • Providing robust financial support and guidance to the Accounting and Finance team.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with set standards.
  • Working collaboratively with team members to optimise departmental performance.
  • Participating in financial planning and budgeting processes.
  • Assisting with the preparation of end-of-year accounts.
  • Implementing and maintaining internal controls to enhance financial security.
  • Assisting with financial audits, as and when required.
  • Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation within the public sector.
ProfileA successful Assistant Financial Accountant should have:
  • A strong background in accounting and finance.
  • High proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite.
