Job Title: Asbestos Lab Analyst. Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire.Salary / Benefits £22k - £28k + Training + BenefitsIndustry leading, privately owned Asbestos Consultancy are now in the market to recruit an Asbestos Lab Analyst to join their team in the Yorkshire Region. This role would suit a candidate with extensive experience working with in a laboratory for a UKAS accreditedAsbestos Consultancy, carrying out sample analysis and completing job sheets, alongside ensuring the laboratory is following safe working practice and all analytical equipment is calibrated. Consideration will be given to candidates from: Bradford, Pudsey, Halifax, Elland, Brighouse, Dewsbury, Huddersfield, Shipley, Wakefield, Normanton, Halifax.Experience & Qualifications: " Holding the BOHS P401 is essential to the role. " Will have extensive experience working for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy, working within the laboratory. " Excellent communication skills, written and verbal." Excellent IT skills. " Able to manage workload efficiently, in line with company / client needs. " Will have a keen eye for detail. The Role:" Logging all samples upon arrival to the laboratory, ensuring they are labelled and stored correctly. " Carrying out sample analysis using PLM and stereo microscopy. " Accurately filling out job sheets upon completion of analysis, ensuring to complete them in line with agreed timeframes. " Ensuring to maintain the companys UKAS accreditation. " Keeping internal systems accurate and up to date." Ensuring all analytical equipment is calibrated and clean. " Always following safe working practices. " Ensuing work is carried out in line with relevant Health & Safary legislations. " Liaising with clients, dealing with any issues efficiently.
