Job Description

Area Sales Manager Yorkshire Region £35,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance + Bonus Join a dynamic team where resilience and self-starting attitude are valued. If youre someone who thrives in change and is eager to learn and grow, we want to hear from you.As a Sales Development Lead, youll play a pivotal role in driving the sales of waste wood to meet the demands of outbound supply to contracted power stations. This is a challenging yet rewarding position in a competitive market where your proactive approachwill make a difference.The candidate;

  • Previous experience in sales / business development is essential
  • Knowledge of the waste wood market is desirable
  • Previous experience in the waste management industry is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change and manage multiple priorities.
  • Understanding of legal requirements for waste wood deliveries is desirable.
  • Proactive and organized nature with proficiency in Word and Excel.
  • Strong team player
Duties and Responsibilities;
  • Door to door cold calling businesses, within a targeted area, to introduce business and services.
  • Maintain and retain current customer base while developing new relationships.
  • Understand industry requirements and legal obligations.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to drive sales within the designated area.
  • Monitor contracted customers performance and manage any quality issues.
  • Expand the customer database through strategic initiatives and market research.
