Job Description

Have you ever wanted to work within the civil service Do you have strong communication skills and working in an administration setting We are looking for 2 candidates to join our client the Ministry of Justice in an Commercial Administrator roleWe are interested in speaking with candidates who have strong administration skills and confident being dealing with various stakeholders

  • Hours: Monday - Friday 37 hours a week (hours are flexible around 9-5)
  • Location: Leeds City Centre
  • Hybrid working - 2 days in the offices
  • Contract length: 12 months - June 2024
  • Pay - £13.38 per hour (annually £25,473)
OverviewAs a Commercial Administrative Officer, you will support the team with administration activities to achieve commercial outcomes across the business. The category involves working with a wide and diverse set of stakeholders and suppliers and covers some uniqueand niche requirements.Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and updates to the relevant internal commercial systems
  • Creating and generating POs & invoices
  • Monitoring team email inbox, being the first point of contact for the team, answering requests or sign-posting to the relevant team members
  • Assessing actions that need to be taken to support the team, supporting commercial team members and carrying out instructions.
  • Arranging and booking meetings. Document management (including photocopying, drafting agendas for meetings, sending key documents on behalf of team members).
  • Resolving business and supplier enquires by telephone and email
  • Working closely with the prisons and probation services
  • Stakeholder management
  • Managing sensitive information in a confidential manner
The successful candidate will have the following:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong administration skills
  • Organisation
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft office products
