OperativeLocation: Herreschoff Kilns Site, Lee Moor Plympton, Devon, PL7 5JPSalary: £29,940 (inclusive of Shift Allowance)Are you looking for your next opportunity Looking for a hands-on role that offers a wide variety of responsibilities Join Imerys; the market leader in mineral-based speciality solutions, where well help you tap your full potential!As a Multi-Skilled Operative, you will be required to undertake a variety of production duties within the plant in accordance with Company EHS policies and management instructions. Your main responsibilities cover running the bagging lines (IBC and sacks)and storing products safely. After being signed off as a basic operator, you will then operate our mixing plant.The more common activities include, but are not limited to:

• Packaging product into IBC’s and sacks. Using both manual and automatic filling systems
• Using a counterbalance forklift to safely transport and rack away packaged goods
• Stretch wrapping and securing goods, ready for collection
• Inputting and maintaining accurate data records
• Maintaining the health, safety and environmental standards on site, for yourself and others around you

The successful candidate should hold or be willing to undertake training to include manual handling and chemical handling competence. You’ll be working in team of 5-6 per shift, forming a vital part of the successful and smooth running of our HerreschoffKiln site.This role is working on a shift pattern (day and night):Day Shift: Week 1: 6am - 6pm - Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat & Sun (Wed & Thur off)Week 2: 6am - 6pm Wed & Thu (Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat & Sun off)Night Shift: Week 3: 6pm - 6am - Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat & Sun (Wed & Thur off)Week 4: 6pm - 6am Wed & Thu (Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat & Sun off)What’s in it for youImerys is a successful business which provides its employees with a positive working environment and a range of workplace benefits including:

What we are looking for:

• A forklift licence with refresher training in the last 3 years.
• A UK driving licence.
• Previous experience of working within a Production environment
• High level of health, safety and environmental knowledge and awareness including COSHH
• Solid understanding of health and safety standards/ practices
• Previous experience with the use of racking would be an advantage
