Job Description

Teacher - Primary School - Key Stage 1 - LeatherheadAbout Us: A well-established and reputable primary school located in the heart of Leatherhead, Surrey. Committed to providing a high-quality education for students, we are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their teamon a permanent, full-time basis. This exciting opportunity is being advertised by Academics, a leading education recruitment agency, on behalf of our school. As a Key Stage 1 Teacher at our Primary School in Leatherhead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our young learners. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing studentprogress, and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. Collaboration with colleagues and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of our students are essential aspects of this role.Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 1 Primary School Teacher
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment to ensure the well-being and development of all students
  • Utilize a range of teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
  • Regularly assess and track student progress, providing feedback and interventions as necessary
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the continuous improvement of the schools educational provision
  • Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of their childs progress
Requirements:
  • RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK IS REQUIRED
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching qualifications
  • Experience as a Key Stage 1 Primary School Teacher is advantageous but not mandatory
  • A genuine passion for education and a dedication to creating a positive and nurturing learning environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a cohesive team
