This role has a starting salary of £36,989 per annum, based on a 36 hour working week.Do you have a passion for improving outcomes for children and families and developing peopleAre you experienced or interested in learning and developmentDo you have an understanding or experience in safeguardingIf you answer yes, then this could be your next the role!We are excited to be recruiting a new Safeguarding Partnership Learning and Development Officer who will sit in the Surrey Childrens Services Academy.Our Academy aims to recruit, retain and develop the Childrens Services workforce, and collaborate with the Surrey Safeguarding Childrens Partnership to facilitate their learning offer. It will aim to raise professional standards, introduce, and embednew skills and ways of working, and provide up to date knowledge and research to support practice development. The Academy supports staff within the Children, Families and Lifelong Learning Directorate, foster carers, and Partner agencies.About the RoleIn this role, you will be expected to build positive relationships with partners from the Surrey Safeguarding Children Partnership and colleagues in Children, Families and Lifelong Learning. Through these relationships, you will work collaboratively to identifyand facilitate a high-quality learning and development programme for workers in the Partnership, which may also cross over into CFLL.You will contribute to evaluating the learning and training on offer, to ensure it is making a difference to children and families through the impact it has on practice and is valuable to practitioners. You will lead on producing an annual training brochureand working with colleagues in the Academy to ensure courses are well advertised and attended.To apply and be considered for this position your application will clearly evidence:
