Job Description

Manage, maintain and develop our application integrations solutions, steering its evolution to being more robust and future proof. This will include pro-actively monitoring of the interfaces, acting as 2nd line support in resolving complex incidents andproblems, developing new data integration pipelines using ETL tools such as SSIS & Azure Data Factory or making changes to existing ones.Client DetailsA family owned construction, development and property services company thats the largest in the UKDescription

  • A strong understanding of project management principles along with excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and be a self-starter who enjoys a challenged and takes the initiative to get the job done.
  • Translating business requirements into robust technical Integration solutions using ETL tools such as SSIS & Azure Data Factory
  • Ensuring all existing Integrations are running smoothly as per the schedules and data is interfacing across correctly
  • Providing technical and non-technical support to end users of interfaces within the business and assisting with queries
  • Managing and developing the team
  • Use Source Control using G.I.T and develop new and decipher existing advanced SSIS solutions.
Profile
  • Experienced with ETL / ELT tools such as SSIS & Azure Data Factory
  • Read and write SQL scripts and stored procedures
  • Solid knowledge of SQL Server Integrations Services CatLog, SQL Agent, Linked servers
  • An understanding of Azure integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, Event Grid, Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory).
  • Have a degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field or equivalent.
  • To be successful in this role you will be a collaborative and effective communicator with the ability to interact with stakeholders of all levels as well as the skills to breakdown complex problems and manage projects through to successful completion.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to spot and fix errors in complex code, and excellent time management skills and a propensity to handle urgent interrupts with professionalism.
