Job Description

Graduate Design Engineer required. Our client is a well-established manufacturer of special purpose machinery based in the Leatherhead area. Due to continued success, they are seeking an enthusiastic Graduate Design Engineer to join the team.The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and developing mechanical sub-assemblies and larger machines using AutoCAD Inventor including producing detailed component drawings.Graduate Design Engineer Position Overview

  • Developing sub-assembly drawings with the use of Autodesk Inventor
  • Creating Bill of Materials
  • Creating production drawings for manufacturing processes such as milling, turning & profiling.
  • Communicating design ideas to the team
  • Liaising with component suppliers
Graduate Design Engineer Position Requirements
  • Degree qualified within a Mechanical or Design related subject
  • Based in a commutable distance of Leatherhead
  • Experience with 3D modelling software such as Inventor, Solidworks, Catia etc.
  • Good communication skills
Graduate Design Engineer Position Remuneration
  • Salary £22,000 - £28,000 depending on experience
  • Working hours: Monday to Thursday 08:15 - 17:00. Friday 08:15 - 15:45. 40 hour week.
  • Workplace Pension
  • Overtime available during busy periods
  • 20 days holiday, plus bank holidays
