All applicants must hold or be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV)Security Check (SC) level. Your future duties and responsibilitiesThe Development Manager is a key role overseeing small teams carrying out the refresh of software applications. This role will work alongside a Solution Lead, Automation Lead and Test Manager to deliver the software solution.The role will require the applicant to gain an understand of the overall high-level solution and successfully ensure all the major milestones for deliverables are produced and delivered on time to a high level of quality.This role encompasses management and technical aspects.- Work with the Application lead and Automation lead to ensure lower-level build activities are appropriately captured and monitored.- Work with the developers to ensure quality deliverables are met to timescales.- Day to day oversight of the development teams (5-6 teams each with 2-3 people)- Escalation, and tracking of resolution, for any key issues arising from the development team.- Ensure there is consistency in the deliverables to existing guidelines and help the team to make any necessary adjustments to meet these.- Working through with stakeholders any change of approach or scope from ongoing work Required qualifications to be successful in this role- Recent hands-on development background (C#)- Experience of leading multiple teams- Good problem-solving skills - Good stakeholder management Experience in the following is advantageous: - Azure- Ansible- Jenkins- DevOps- SQL#LI-SB2#TJ#INDCGI#IND Insights you can act onWhile technology is at the heart of our clients digital transformation, we understand that people are at the heart of business success.When you join CGI, you become a trusted advisor, collaborating with colleagues and clients to bring forward actionable insights that deliver meaningful and sustainable outcomes.
