We focus on evolution and doing complex things well - Working side-by-side with our clients, harnessing technologies withpractical innovation to transform, enable, protect, and deliver mission critical systems.CGI are on the lookout for an Azure Cloud SME to join a SAFe Agile team designing and delivering the migration of a secure, Microsoft stack based On Premise environment to a secure Azure Cloud environment. Your future duties and responsibilitiesThis work includes:- Provision of technical leadership on Azure services, and migration approach to Agile team and customer representatives - Leading the discovery of environment components, configuration and performance characteristics for existing on premise environment- Working with the Agile team architect to produce architectural designs for equivalent Azure Cloud hosted solution (and any required interim system requirements)- Apply best practices for Azure Hosted solutions,- Ensure security principles are applied to migration strategy- Migration of network components, configuration, services and servers to Azure Cloud environment- Diagnosing and fixing of issues throughout migration process- Assisting with the development of automation scripts for migration process - Producing documentation as required. Required qualifications to be successful in this roleEssential Skills:Azure Solutions Architect certification3+ years experience as solution architect/ SME for Azure hosted solutionExtensive server build and maintenance (Windows) experience- Extensive general platform knowledge (SANs, McAfee, Netbackup, WSUS, etc)Strong leadership / people management skills- Provision of infrastructure using Powershell and JSONStrong understanding of security principles required for secure migration to AzureDesirable Skills:- Implementation of Government Secure systems using AZURE IAAS components would be advantageous. - Experience of NVA e.g. F5 Fortinet Cisco Etc.- SQL (Preferably SQL Server)- Experience of Agile/Sprints and/or the software development lifecycleThe work will be as part of an Agile Infrastructure development team based full time in Leatherhead.Security Clearance: All candidates must be eligible for SC clearance at the minimum.#LI-Remote#LI-CF1 Insights you can act onWhile technology is at the heart of our clients digital transformation, we understand that people are at the heart of business success.When you join CGI, you become a trusted advisor, collaborating with colleagues and clients to bring forward actionable insights that deliver meaningful and sustainable outcomes.
