* 2nd/3rd Line Field Engineer* Surrey and Berkshire* £30,000 - £36,000 + Mileage + 25 Days A/L + BenefitsNOTE: You must have access to a car and be happy to complete an eDBS check.Are you a customer-focused 2nd/3rd Line Field Engineer looking for an exciting new opportunity We are delighted to be supporting a renowned IT Managed Service provider that supports the Education Sector in their search for a Field Engineer to join their team.As a Field Engineer, you will be supporting locations in Surrey and Berkshire, providing technical support to schools and educational establishments. This will be a customer-facing role, so you must be confident and comfortable interacting with clients. Yourresponsibilities will include supporting servers and networks, end-user computer support, and school hardware such as printers, AV equipment, touchscreens, and projectors.The successful candidate will have experience in Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Hyper-V, and general hardware support. You must be able to commute throughout the area and hold a valid drivers license and car. Mileage is covered at 25p/mile, and you willbe entitled to 25 days holiday and access to various recognized training courses and certifications.In addition to providing customer-focused engineering, you will help promote the companys services and plan for future projects at each site. Soft skills are also important, and the client looks for candidates who are friendly, approachable, and engaging.To be considered for this role, you must have technical capabilities in Windows Server and Desktop OSs, Office 365, Active Directory, and experience in creating Group Policy. Hyper-V experience would be desirable, along with hardware troubleshooting experiencewith laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, projectors, and AV equipment.
