Vinyl Floor LayerLeamington£14.50 an hour + Vehicle Mainstay are looking for a Vinyl floor layer for a large-scale maintenance and refurbishment business. This will be to work on social housing properties and some public sector buildings including hospitals.Previous experience in the same role essential and ability to work on own initiative or part of a small team. Immediate start with COVID-19 precautions in place.Role:- Vinyl floor layer to prepare and fit vinyl to wet rooms and other locations including taking up old flooring that is in place.- Accurately measuring and preparing floors using latex or plywood and fit vinyl sheet flooring safety flooring on all sites.- Carrying out small repair work to all types of floor coverings and eliminating any hazards- You will be responsible for ensuring you working area is compliant and safe and meets health and safety standards.- The sites will include working in social housing and some commercial sites such as hospitals.- You will be laying flooring in bathrooms kitchens and sometimes working along side other trades such as Tiler and plumber etc. and will be able to support other trades when needed with smaller tasks.- You must show a can do’ attitude and deliver high standard of service and workmanship.Hours: - Monday - Thursday 8:00-16:30 and Friday 8-15:30Candidate: - Previous experience as a Vinyl floor fitter essential - which includes taking up and fitting flooring.- Previous experience ideally within social housing and residential properties- Relevant qualifications desirable - NVQ and CSCS card- Must have good communications skills.- Must have a good attitude and be willing to help colleagues out when required.- Full UK drivers license
