Job Description

Trainee Technical Support Engineer (Machine Vision) ***No experience required***Full Training Provided***Leamington Spa£19,000 to £24,000 DOE + annual bonus + excellent training & development + benefitsAre you a college leaver with a STEM or Engineering qualification looking to gain your first engineering position within a long-established specialist engineering businessAre you curious to learn and develop your skills and work within a company with excellent opportunities to develop your skill set and who work on some of best know international civil engineering projectsOn offer is an excellent opportunity to work in a friendly work environment with on-the-job training, with the opportunity to get involved at many different levels.Ideally you would be technically minded, computer literate, with a good understanding of Excel and Access, and have a demonstrable interest or background in Engineering, Maths or Physics, but that is not as important as the enthusiasm to learnand develop.Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to our customers
  • Diagnose faults on camera and barcode systems, including faults with PCs
  • Build bespoke systems to order
  • Understand and keep up to date with the different Barcode and Machine Vision products and make recommendations to clients
  • Contribute towards the company website with product news and industry-relevant blogs
The person:
  • No experience required
  • College qualification in a STEM subject or an NVQ in an Engineering subject
  • Driving License
