Tax Director Job VacancyThis leading accountancy firm is looking for an ambitious and skilled Tax Director to join their team in Leamington Spa. This opportunity will suit someone looking for a route to Partnership and ready to hit the ground running leading a thriving team oftax professionals for a well-established firm.The successful candidate will be CTA qualified with demonstrable experience of tax and leadership. Once appointed, they will become a valued, senior member of the team and will oversee the tax advisory function, advising on and developing all tax mattersfor the firms valued portfolio.With clients covering a diverse range of industries, with significant annual turnovers, this firm is keen to welcome a proactive professional who can motivate and inspire the junior team, support the Partners and provide a first-class, technically excellentlevel of service to their valued clients.You will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to see and implement changes to processes to improve service delivery to clients. You will also have a strong record of accomplishment of improving profitability and exceeding client expectations, representingthe firm with excellent communications skills.Job Purpose

  • Lead the tax function at the firm.
  • Tax accounting for financial reporting purposes (for example, tax accounting on defined benefit pension scheme disclosures).
  • Reporting to international group finance teams/advisors.
  • Assistance with ERS reporting and advice.
  • Advising on group re-structuring.
  • International transactions.
  • Transfer pricing issues.
  • BREXIT issues.
  • Due diligence.
  • Support for the corporate finance department in connection with company related transactions, including review of tax warranties.
  • Permanent establishment enquiries.
  • Client relationship management.
  • Delivering marketing/networking presentations.
  • The leadership of the tax advisory department, management of the team and oversight of workflow.

About the FirmThis award-winning independent firm of accountants in Leamington Spa seeks a talented Tax Director as part of a succession planning programme and exciting restructure.This firm provides corporate tax compliance and advice to audit and accounting clients, who are a mix of owner managed and international group companies, and acts as the outsourced tax director for a group of UK subsidiary companies owned by an internationalgroup. They also provide compliance services to a group of UK-based investment funds.This firm will suit someone who can step into the role and inspire the people around them, setting an example to junior staff and impressing the Partners by driving the firms corporate tax function.Whats on offer
