Job Description

SEO Technical Consultant - Hybrid/Leamington£35,000-£45,000My client is looking for a SEO Technical Consultant with a real eye for detail to join their teamThe successful candidate will be positioned within their Performance Marketing team and work closely with the Marketing Performance Manager. You will be knowledgeable and results-focused, as one of the go-to individuals within the team for advice and expertiseon all areas of SEOAs the lead SEO on your designated client accounts, you will be directly accountable for client results through this channel. You will research and analyse industry trends, utilising current best practice and your own desire to innovate in order to continuallyimprove organic traffic and conversions.Key Responsibilities

  • Establish a concise and targeted set of keywords against which organic performance will be benchmarked for all clients within a clearly documented client strategy
  • Work with the Head of Search and account management team to ensure that all client accounts managed by you have a robust SEO strategy in place
  • Ensure client websites consistently meet best practice
  • Work alongside content, PR & outreach colleagues to gain authoritative links for client sites
  • Support the production team through the scoping and site mapping phase and again around site launches to ensure performance of client websites
  • Implement tracking code on websites using Google Tag Manager and best practice Google Analytics
  • Maintain an awareness of emerging tools and software that enhance their offering keep up to date with industry news, algorithm updates etc
  • Produce detailed and informative audit and recommendation documents
  • Clearly and effectively communicate with clients by email, in meetings or conference calls
  • Make constructive and proactive recommendations to the account management team around opportunities to best utilise or grow the SEO retainer for clients
  • Effectively brief SEO support tasks to colleagues where appropriate, providing detailed instructions, clear required outputs and guidance throughout
