Senior Mechanical Engineer Location: Leamington SpaSalary: £45,000 - £54,000 + PackageAre you an experienced engineer who enjoys working on fast-paced projects How would you like to join an engineering consultancy in the exciting and rapidly developing market of electrified powertrains and propulsion systems Are you interested in working foran award-winning organisation that values sustainability and works collaboratively with key players in the industry all around the world If so, keep reading and apply below!The Role *Using specialist engineering software to design, develop and prototype driveline, gear box and electric motor systems*Responsible for the delivery of technical work packages and whole projects*Application of fundamental principles of mechanical engineering to solve complex problems*Undertaking work to a high level of autonomy whilst also being able to work as a team*Taking ownership of proposals/quotes from initiation through submission with clients*Managing yourself and others to work to tight deadlinesRequirements *Knowledge of design and analysis of precision rotating components*Background of automotive transmission design or analysis experience*High proficiency in CAE analysis of rotating components*Solid foundation of some of the key software packages within drivetrain engineering such as Creo, Catia or NX*Effectively managed medium-sized projects in both a technical and commercial sense*High level of numeracy and communication skills with a passion to overcome challenges *Willing to travel on behalf of the business What they can offer you*Competitive salary with an extensive benefits package *Flexible working schedule with opportunities to work remotely *Opportunities for career development and personal growthThis is an incredible opportunity to work with an organisation that is focused on developing technologies for a greener future.
