Data ScientistFull Time - 18 month - Fixed Term ContractBased at Leamington Spa£17.28 - £18.79 per hourAs a Data Scientist you will be working on a state of the art, laboratory as part of a Covid - 19 team. Working with highly skill individuals in the scientific community you will be part of a team to be responsible for analysis of sample data, tracking and recording the analysis in the LIMS database. You will be processing large data sets accurately, identify anomalous results and work closely with quality management.You will have a Bsc honours degree within biological science, systems biology or equivalent degree. A track record in processing large data sets and statistical analysis. Experience of working within Polymerase Chain reaction (PCR) data sets and knowledge of qPCR.This role will be a mixture of day and night shifts within 4 days on, 3 days off basis.
