A leading manufacturer of innovative advanced machinery has a new vacancy for a Quality Technician. Working at their state-of-the-art facility you will focus on NPI, product improvement and supporting the quality function. Candidates are sought with experienceworking in a quality engineering function, preferably in a complex manufacturing environment and this position can offer excellent career development opportunities.Commutable from: Leamington Spa, Warwick, Coventry, Birmingham, Banbury, Stratford. Salary: £ 25,000 - £ 28,000 p.a. + benefitsSuitable for: Quality Engineer, Quality Technician, SQE, Quality Assurance Engineer, Trainee Quality Engineer. The RoleWorking for a global leader in their field, you will work with the Senior Quality team to ensure successful NPI activities with both suppliers and internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for providing ongoing support, maintaining and developing theperformance of both the organisation its suppliers by correlating and presenting supplier, internal, customer and warranty data.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport project meetings with the organisation and suppliersComplete all stock control activities to ensure cost recoveryInvestigate production issuesEscalating issues that impact on program deliverablesTake ownership of the machinery calibrationSupporting inspection and test status requirements defined by regulations, engineering product specifications and product approvalThe PersonCandidates are sought with some experience working in a quality function or engineering with a desire to move into a quality position.
