Job Description

Probate Administrator£21 - £25k. Working hours 9 am - 5 pm, Monday to Friday within stunning offices and grounds close to Leamington town centre.The benefits are excellent including 25 days holiday plus bank holiday increasing with service to a maximum of 29 days, Xmas shutdown and Christmas Party, Summer party, Sage Benefits, Company pension, free wills and discounted other company products, refreshmentsprovided and free parking.Probate Administrator Role Summary:As a Probate Administrator, you will play a crucial role within our growing and dynamic team of Case Managers, Practitioners, and Administrators dedicated to the efficient and timely resolution of probate cases. Managing your own caseload, you will navigatecases from initial instruction to obtaining a grant of Probate and facilitating distributions.Probate Administrator Responsibilities and Role:

  • Manage caseload from instruction to Probate grant and distribution.
  • Supervise team administrators for efficient case progression.
  • Liaise with clients and advisors, ensuring transparent communication.
  • Monitor team communications and use bespoke software for case updates.
  • Engage with institutions, Probate Registries, and HMRC to advance cases.
  • Draft legal documents, manage estate payments, and coordinate data for tax returns.
  • Provide occasional internal training for the Probate Team.
Probate AdministratorKey Knowledge & Required Skills:
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficient in probate case management, including regulatory liaison.
  • Fast learner with adaptability to new computer systems.
  • Meticulous attention to detail for accurate documentation and progression.
