Job Description

Our client has been established in their industry for over 30 years and due to continued positive referrals and business success, they will continue to grow into 2020 and beyond. A supportive, collaborative, and ambitious organisation who are looking to recruit an experienced Paralegal to work in their Personal Injury Team.The purpose of this role is to manage claimant personal injury cases. It is essential that the successful candidate has worked as a Paralegal previously and has had exposure within a Personal Injury department.   • Produce accurate detailed work to ensure excellence in legal services
  • Maintain files and ensure efficient case management of matters
  • Undertake general administration tasks to include file opening and typing of dictation
  • Preparation of bills for approval
  • Draft any documentation in accordance with efficient file management including correspondence, briefs, court documentation, applications, full attendance notes and statements of evidence
  • Undertake legal research
  • Time recording in accordance with the Firms policy
  • Attend to clients at court with counsel
  • Attend department meetings
  • Skills & Experience:
  • Experience working as a Paralegal in a Claimant Personal Injury department is essential
  • Experience using a client system/portal is essential
  • Dynamic in approach and uses initiative when dealing with clients and stakeholders
  • A team player and flexible in approach
  • An excellent level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle a demanding workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident user of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
