Job Description

Mobile Games Art Director - Royal Leamington Spa Salary: Depends on ExperienceTerm: Permanent The Company:An independent company that is passionately dedicated to making innovative, world-class games that surprise, entertain and delight players.Located in Warwick, they are part of the strongest game development community in the UK and have produced over 100 games across all formats.With the boom of digital markets, they began to create more of their own IP. Their mobile games have achieved worldwide App Store features, fantastic reviews from critics, and most importantly they’re loved by players!They have released more than 40 mobile games, achieving over 100 million downloads, and several #1 ‘All Apps’ hits on the App Store, Google Play and Amazon Appstore, in multiple territories.The Role: They are looking for talented Art Director to overlook and review all art assets produced by the Team. You will enjoy working within a multidisciplinary team environment and supervise the team of artists, animator’s and designers from concept to the ship date. Your role will be crucial in the feel and success of any game, so a passion for your position is essential.Essential Criteria:

  • Have a passion for games, preferably mobile
  • Have an awesome, polished and varied portfolio
  • Have a strong working knowledge of Unity 3D
  • Have a good understanding of what makes a game appealing to different audiences
  • Be able to inspire artists to make the highest quality product possible
  • Be able to make tough decisions that affect the game’s final look and feel
  • Ensure quality, consistency and compliance of the graphic production throughout the process of production
  • Be able to provide creative feedback and respond professionally to others
  • Have an extensive knowledge of Android and iOS Interfaces and requirements
    • Experience:
  • 2+ Released Titles
  • Strong passion for mobile games.
    • Desirable Criteria:
  • Although a Degree in a relevant discipline is desirable it is not essential. You will be judged on that quality of work inside your portfolio.
