Job Description

Were currently seeking a Laboratory Incident Manager based in and around Leamington Spa to work within a state of the art, high output diagnostics laboratory environment as part of the UKs NHS Test and Trace programme, helping societys return to a morenormal way of life.In this role you will have the opportunity to: manage the incident team and collaborate with the Operations teams to restore normal service operation as quickly as possible following an incident. The Laboratory Incident Manager will reportincidents to internal and external stakeholders as necessary, identify corrective actions and analyse trends to ensure any adverse effect on business operations are minimised.Your ResponsibilitiesWorking closely alongside the Compliance Director and other departments to ensure the best possible levels of service quality and availability are returned and maintained.

  • Managing the incident team members, setting standards, assigning workloads and re-scheduling non-urgent tasks
  • Overseeing the incident management process, liaising with departments and team members involved in resolving any incident(s). Prioritising incidents according to their urgency and influence on the business.
  • Reporting and outlining incidents based on level of severity to internal and external parties
  • Responding to reported incidents, identifying the cause(s), initiating the incident management process and facilitating the development of a CAPA plan.
Skills and Experience To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills & experience:
  • Excellent managerial skills and ability to collaborate with team members.
  • Ability to analyse a high volume of technical data and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent Root Cause Analysis skills, strong problem solving, analytical, and time management skills.
  • Good reporting and communication skills.
  • Professionalism and Diplomacy.
