Laboratory Incident ManagerLeamington Spa18-month Long Term Temp Contract with opportunity to go permanent and competitive rate of pay. Additional benefits include Company Sick Pay and Overtime Pay.Hours of work will be 9 to 5:30 Monday-Friday.Salary £26.42 per hourThe Role of the Laboratory Incident ManagerThe Rosalind Franklin Laboratory (RFL) is publicly owned and operated by the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) and is at the heart of the UKs response to managing the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.RFL is the largest facility of its kind in the UK, and one of the largest in Europe. Using cutting-edge technology, the lab has processed millions of PCR tests since opening in June 2021. The lab continues to play a vital role in stopping the transmissionof COVID-19, as well as ensuring the nation can respond quickly and at greater scale to deal with pandemics and other future health threats.This world-class facility has considerable benefits to the local area in terms of job creation and putting Royal Leamington Spa on the international scientific map, while contributing to the UKs ambition to be a global leader in science, medicine, and technology.In the role of the Laboratory Incident Manager, you will have the opportunity to: In this role you will have the opportunity to: manage the incident team and collaborate with the Operations teams to restore normal service operation as quickly as possible following an incident. The Laboratory Incident Manager will report incidents to internal and external stakeholders as necessary,identify corrective actions and analyse trends to ensure any adverse effect on business operations are minimised.Key Accountabilities for the Laboratory Incident Manager :Working closely alongside the Compliance Director and other departments to ensure the best possible levels of service quality and availability are returned and maintained.
