Customer Service Advisor Salary: £23,000 per annumLocation: Leamington SpaJob DescriptionAre you a skilled and enthusiastic customer service professional with a background in export and logistics Do you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!Metalis are working with a leading manufacturing company based in the vibrant town of Leamington Spa. Our client takes pride in delivering top-quality products to clients worldwide, and their success is built on a foundation of exceptional customer service.As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be an integral part of the dynamic customer service team. Your primary responsibility will be to provide outstanding support to their clients, both domestically and internationally, ensuring their satisfaction at everystep of their journey with us.Job Duties:

  • Act as the main point of contact for our clients valued customers, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Serve as the main liaison for negotiating competitive freight rates with shipping partners, optimizing cost-effective solutions for international shipments.
  • Take charge of efficiently preparing and processing all facets of export documentation, managing the entire process from order placement to shipment. This includes expertly handling commercial invoices, customs declarations, and other essential shippingdocuments, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and requirements.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience, going above and beyond to exceed expectations.
  • Exhibit a sales-oriented and professional demeanour during customer interactions, actively engaging clients to promote our products and services through suggestive selling techniques.
  • Proactively inform clients about the full range of packages and retail choices available, ensuring they are aware of all options to enhance their overall experience.
Job Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably with experience in a export/logistics environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of international shipping processes, export documentation, and logistics coordination.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proficiency in using customer service software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience of using ERP system a benefit
Salary & Hours:
  • Salary: £23,000 per annum
  • Shift - Monday - Friday 08:00am - 16:00pm (However our client is flexible on these hours within reason)
  • Position Type: Permanent, Full-time
