You will work on key initiatives to deliver new capabilities that will enable the company to optimise its return on investment internationally across all areas of Research, Engineering, Manufacturing and Sales.Reporting to the Senior Manager of IT Development & Integration, you will also liaise directly with the CEO to enable enhanced insight to influence global strategy. Managing a small but expanding team of BI Analysts / Developers (currently 3, growing to6), this role forms part of a Global IT & Digital Transformation across ERP and Cloud solutions.The role is based south of Birmingham but there is good flexibility around office vs work from home.Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Expert for the Business Intelligence Stack
• Manage relationships and communication with stakeholders at all levels and across the business.
• Manage relationship with BI Solution providers (Microsoft, Salesforce, Infor)
• Ensure that the organisation maximise investment made in existing Business Intelligence
• Ensure BI solution Standards are updated and maintained
• Define and Maintain system security and integrity
• Master Data Management, Ensure Data Quality, migration and maintenance
• Constantly review As Is system landscape, identify gaps and provide desired solution design recommendation when current landscape is not fit for purpose
• Build strategic relationships with stakeholders in a business team or area, and foster partnerships across the business landscape.
• Share information to educate customers about available BI capabilities and services and how they meet business needs.
• Understand business drivers and business capabilities (future and current state), and determine corresponding system designs and change requirements to drive the organisations targeted business outcomes
• Actively research industry trends and apply these to the Architecture.
• Convey complex messages and issues clearly and credibly.
• Use a mix of communication methods and strategies to promote dialogue and shared understanding across diverse audiences.
• Capable of creating and delivering clear presentations and to facilitate workshops to gain and agree requirements and solutions.

Key Skills Required:

• Ability to work with in-house and outsourced development teams in a multi-supplier environment
• Experience in Manufacturing, Logistics or Supply Chain environments is highly desirable
• Experience in a several BI Solutions (i.e. SSAS, PowerBI, Tableau, Birst)
• Good understanding of ERP platforms, ideally Infor but SAP / IFS / Oracle / MS etc also considered
• Knowledge of Salesforce is highly desirable
• Interest in applying Machine learning in the future
• Good understanding of underlying infrastructure both in house solutions and cloud-based solutions, ideally AWS but will also consider Azure / Google Cloud
• Understanding of an Agile based development approach

Profile
