We are looking for experienced Bioscientist leads to help in the increased demand in COVID-19 testing in Leamington Spa.As a biochemist lead you are required to ensure diagnostic tests are performed according to the accreditation high standards of the lab. You will need to maintain quality assurance and oversee specialist lab teams conducting the end-to-end lab processes from sample receipt, through RNA extraction to delivery of PCR data.You will have relevant MSc degree qualification or higher /PhD, equivalent experience and evidence of continual professional development.Experience of training and supervising staff in a laboratory setting and of using a variety of molecular biology methods such as PCR and genome sequencing.Experience of operation of advanced diagnostic equipment, robotics or high - throughout equipment using biological material.Working with pathology IT.
