Job Description

CK Group is recruiting for an Analytical Chemist based in Leamington Spa in a full time permanent role for a competitive starting salary of £30,000 per annum. The Company:Our client is a leading recycling specialist company offering their service to polymer industriesLocation:The site is based in Leamington Spa and is commutable from Northampton, Lutterworth, Rushden, Rugby, Coventry and Birmingham.Your duties and responsibilities will involve:

  • Be a key part of the technical team to support operations and oversee QC and technical functions for recycled material
  • Help build and specify and run a state of the art analytical laboratory
  • Utilise GC-MS and other analytical data to identify, and quantify contaminants and determine safe levels based on published and generated datadevelop methods and train operators
  • Provide technical guidance of process adjustments and improvements
  • Support ground-breaking research into recycled materials
Your Background:The successful candidate will have:
  • Educated to PhD level in Chemistry or with equivalent industrial experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of analytical techniques especially GC-MS, LC-MS, HPLC or ion chromatography
  • Experience of regulatory compliance and standards
  • Previous experience of working in a Manufacturing Environment - desirable
