Job Description

Job Title: Temporary Accounts Assistant (Temp to Perm)Type of Work: Part–Time (20 hrs)Location: SydenhamSalary: £14 per hourWorking hours: 8:30am until 12:30pm or 9am until 1pmWe are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our clients team as a Temporary Accounts Assistant. This role offers the opportunity for permanent placement for the right candidate.Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions
  • Process invoices, payments, and expenses accurately and efficiently
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks and projects as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Ordering stationary equipment from time-to-time
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in an accounts or finance role required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Sage systems
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
