Job Description

ACCOUNTANT / Financial ControllerLeamington, Warwickshire£30,000 - £35,000BCR/TH/10924Are you a qualified Accountant whos looking for a change in careerIf yes, then please continue reading to see if this Financial Controller position is the right fit for you.Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Monitoring finances of the firm - projections, cash flow, fee earners performance
  • Authorising and checking client money accounts plus overseeing the day-to-day workflow
  • Banking supplier management
  • Bookkeeping and invoicing
  • Improving operational strategies, ensuring that accounting principles and practises are consistently applied across all transactions
The ideal Financial Controller:
  • Have Accountancy experience, ideally Qualified practice
  • Must be a competent SAGE user.
  • Be knowledgeable on the SRA rules, understanding the importance of the implementation of the seven principles
  • Be able to collect, analyse and draw conclusions from data, with strong organisational and time management skills
  • Have excellent communication (both written and verbal) and relationship-building skills
  • Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and other commonly used office packages
