Job Description

A high-quality animation studio, who provide services for the gaming, TV, and film industries are looking to take on a 3D Games Animator on a contract basis for 5 months initially.The CompanyThe animation studio in question are dedicated to providing the highest quality animation services across the UK, specialising in different styles when new projects come along. They have collaborated with big-name clients such as Rovio, Warner Bros and DreamWorks, in addition to providing their services for a number of indie studios and start-ups. They are based in Leamington Spa but the role is completely remote.3D Games Animator role Ideally, I am looking for candidates who bring with them some commercial experience, given that the client have specified the need for candidates who have previous experience in the gaming industry. They will not consider CVs/reels that have TV/Film content only, unfortunately.Essential experience for 3D Games Animator role:

  • Strong knowledge of animation pipelines
  • Experience using industry standard art tools such as 3DS Max, Maya, and Photoshop
  • Understanding of UE4 or similar game engine
    • Coupled with the above, it would be great to hear from candidates who have mobile specific experience within the gaming industry, since the client are looking for an animator to join a mobile gaming project. As is the case with many clients in the industry, the ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in the gaming industry and animation.In return, you will receive a daily rate of £130 - £180, experience in a highly talented team, and the opportunity to work with a very successful animation studio.
