Job Description

Role OverviewTo support the creation and implementation of the departments agreed strategy, managing sales, stock, markdowns and availability to drive profitable sales. Supporting team, at departmental level, to deliver across both stores and e- commerce, focusing onoptimising sales and profit, through a balance of planning, sourcing, fulfilment, stock management and trading .As a manager and leader, showing strong team management skills, driving performance through empowering direct reports and teams to make the rightdecisions.Role Requirments

  • Accountable for the delivery of sales, profit, availability, fulfilment, option control, stock into sale and stock metrics across the department for each designated channel for the UK
  • Focuses on delivering the key launch and availability metrics set and agreed with the business
  • Extrapolate the in season trading/OTB forecasts, and manage in season trading and reforecasting
  • Using sound analytical thinkingto producespace reporting to determine the optimum range size, product mix and increasing sales and profit in line withcompany strategy.
  • Planningthefull range with theSenior Buyers, ensuring historical and future trends data and seasonal variations areconsidered.Youll check outpromotional activity and volume dealswhen needed.
  • Gathering and analysing data on current performance and planned ranges.
  • Workingwith the team to maintain the buying calendar and the critical path.
  • Liaising with suppliers, distribution centres and stores on purchase orders and deliveries, and tracking critical paths to ensure seasonal launches are delivered in line withprocessand launch dates
  • Key supplier management
  • Assistinginthe setup, review and re-forecastofthe WSSItaking into accountseasonality, trends and stock targets (monthly, quarterly and year end).
  • Train and mentor team members
  • Provide oversight to team, managing day-to-day issues and concerns, coaching and developing all team members, driving performance and deliver of the company goals through inhouse tools and ensuring all managed within company policy, procedures and processes.
  • Takes the lead in creating a great place to work for everyone; creates a positive and engaged team through recognition, fun and inspiring others to achieve
  • An effective coach with the ability to provide direct, honest and constructive feedback
About You
  • High level of computer literacy, including word and powerpoint
  • Advanced excel capabilities
  • Management of range planning, OTB control and WSSI.
  • Excellent experience andunderstanding of supply chain processes (domestic and global).
  • Knowledgeof stock management especially in a seasonal business.
  • Budget planning and management.
  • Experienced commercial and financial thinking with excellent negotiation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skillsexcellent relationships with colleagues and stakeholders throughout the business
