Job Description

Role: Trainee Estate agentSalary: Basic Salary from £20,000 to £30,000 per annum depending on experience, OTE £50,000 plusHours: 8.45am to 6pm Monday - Friday (Sat 9am -1pm) some flexibility may be offered to the ideal candidate if required)Job Location: Langley, Berkshire Job Types: Full-time, PermanentMust have: Drivers Licence and Car (Car allowance given)Trainee Estate Agent role Established 16 years ago, our client is successful independent agent looking to take on a trainee estate agent whom they can train from scratch in becoming a successful agent.General Duties:

  • Establish and handle the needs of prospective buyers/sellers/tenants/landlords
  • Understand and explain the various buyer/seller, tenant/landlord process as required
  • Maintain and update as appropriate own knowledge of currently available properties
  • Undertake property matching for prospective tenants as required
  • Receiving and checking incoming tenancy applications, communicating needs effectively
  • Producing appropriate administrative paperwork to support the sales/rental process
  • Undertaking regular process reviews and updates of existing live references and giving feedback / updates as appropriate to landlords and prospective tenants.
  • Coordinate rental/sales valuations with the internal team
  • Arrange appointments for prospective tenants/buyers to view properties
  • Using the companies’ management software to produce appropriate tenancy agreements and associated documentation.
  • Comply with requirements of tenant deposit schemes
  • Liaise between Landlords, prospective tenants and management during the application referencing process
  • Be aware of opportunities to promote other services to help the growth of the business
  • Build positive relationships with customers that will help increase sales and brand value
  • Travel to various properties to carry out inspections, support check-ins, deliver keys, meet tradespeople, surveyors, take photographs etc.
You will need:
  • A passion for property & people
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly, helpful disposition and a desire to genuinely provide outstanding customer service
  • Previous experience of working in estate agency or a customer service driven sales environment
  • A natural ability to organise a busy workload
  • Good IT literacy, familiar with Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Problem solving abilities with a good and appropriate use of initiative
  • To maintain an enthusiastic & high energy approach to work.
