Our client, well known in the freight and logistics sector, have a new opportunity available for an experienced Imports Coordinator. The role will be responsible for managing the full import process for a shipment, from start to finish.Interested candidates, must have 3 years+ experience of import customs entries and good knowledge of CPC codes & customs tariffs.ROLE:Raising job files and inputting data into FM3Complete day to day import documentationDeal with all aspects of customs entry declarations, co-ordinate with customs for clearance and manage customs entry exceptionsDevelop relationships with customers for a professional and efficient serviceCommunicating with clients regarding consignment progressBook appropriate transportDevelop new business salesSupport and cover export processesCommunicating with sales and operations teamProvide administration assistance to sales teamATTRIBUTES:Ability to calculate Duty & VAT cost for individual shipmentsExperience of completing import and export entriesExperience using ASM SequoiaKnowledge of the shipping process surrounding Brexit - an advantage but not mandatoryNCTS knowledge - great advantageExperience using FMS (not essential as training will be given)Import knowledge of TA and bonded warehouse clearancesMonday - Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm
