Job Description

IT Support TechnicianNottingham (NG13) with hybrid working25k30k + benefitsPassionate about IT Experienced in 1st/2nd line support and looking for the freedom to work to your own accord, and do things the way you want to do themWorking for a retailer located in the outskirts of Nottingham, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Support Technician to join a growing IT Team to really make an impact on the day to day running of the internal IT.You will be responsible for 1st/2nd line support duties, including investigating helpdesk tickets, setting up equipment, provisioning mobile devices/desktops, testing images, deploying software and Active Directory management.This might be music to your ears, but the Head of IT is down to earth and very chilled. When speaking with me he said that:It is really not in my nature to micromanage, Im a chilled kind of guy. I want to put my trust into this person to manage their own time, be proactive and give them the freedom and flexibility to work how they want. Im a big believer in giving everyonethat work-life balance, so as long as the job is getting done, I can be really flexible.When speaking about progression, he said the structure is relativity flat and they are very fluid as a business. A guy that started in 1st line support is now working in a Junior Development role, and another who started in IT Support is now a code writer.Getting the right cultural fit is extremely important within this company too. They are all people- people and a close-knit team. They want driven, authentic and caring people to work with them to add to their one-team ethos.To be a successful candidate in this role, you must have previous experience in a 1st/2nd line support role, and technical skills that include:
