Company DescriptionGreat Bear is an award-winning 3rd Party UK business of Ambient products, providing nationwide dedicated and shared user warehousing and distribution solutions.Job DescriptionShifts: 4 on 4 off DaysThe role holder will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Correctly brief and debrief drivers
• Check all timesheets and ensure all paperwork is correct and alphabetised
• Check drivers wallets and issue any information
• Print all despatch notes and replenish despatch paper as required
• Answer the telephone and assist with any enquiries
• Download drivers cards/ tachographs
• Ensure all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated
• Consistently update all spreadsheets including, but not limited to; change overs, run summaries and trailer check sheets
• Depart loads using Warehouse Management System (WMS) and use Ross system to input all loads that have departed

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role within a major distribution operation
• Computer literate, particularly MS Office applications i.e. PowerPoint, Word, Excel or equivalent
• Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal
• Accuracy and attention to detail
